Buc-ee's to Open Three New Locations in Texas Arkansas and Tennessee
The convenience store chain confirmed openings in San Marcos on August 12, Benton on August 17, and Murfreesboro on November 16. As of June 29 the company operates 56 locations in 13 states.

Buc-ee's will open a new location in San Marcos, Texas on August 12 and another in Benton, Arkansas on August 17, Media Manager Crissy Gonzales confirmed in an email to USA TODAY on June 29. A third site in Murfreesboro, Tennessee is scheduled to open November 16.
USA TODAY reported that the chain opened its first Ohio store April 6 in Huber Heights and its first Arizona store June 22 in Goodyear.
Arizona city officials stated in a June 25 news release that Buc-ee's selected the state for its economic momentum and workforce. The company, which first launched in Texas in 1982, now has 56 locations across 13 states as of June 29. It is known for its gas pumps, clean bathrooms, barbecue sandwiches and specialty snacks.
Gonzales told USA TODAY the three 2026 openings form part of a longer expansion outlined on the company's website. Planned sites include Ruston, Louisiana; Kansas City, Kansas; Gallaway, Tennessee; St. Lucie, Florida; Boerne, Texas; and Monroe County, Georgia in 2027.
Additional locations are listed for 2028 through 2031 in North Carolina, Louisiana, Florida, Arkansas, Kentucky and South Carolina. Buc-ee's declined to provide addresses for the August openings when contacted by USA TODAY on June 29. The company typically announces new sites on its Facebook page.
