The BYD Ti7 is a seven-seat plug-in hybrid SUV that measures just under five meters in length. The vehicle will be offered with four-wheel drive and is expected to reach the UK market at a price below £50,000. The car features a boxy exterior design with a bluff nose, upright stance, and side-opening rear door.

It is positioned to compete with vehicles such as the Land Rover Discovery and the Land Rover Defender.
