0 is powered by the company’s Frontier AI lab, which employs more than 100 researchers focused on building multimodal foundation models purpose-built for design work. The new platform features a conversational, agentic interface that allows users to describe ideas in plain language and receive fully editable designs incorporating structure, brand, and layout.

Users can refine designs through iterative conversations, enabling an organic creative process.

The update introduces Agentic Orchestration, which understands user intent, selects appropriate tools, and coordinates complex, multi-step design tasks. Object-Based Intelligence allows precise editing of design elements, such as changing fonts or colors without affecting other components.

The system also includes Living Memory, which learns user preferences over time to apply consistent design styles.

0 integrates Connectors that unify workflows by linking tools like Slack, Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Notion, and Zoom. These connectors enable features such as generating meeting summaries from Zoom transcripts, turning customer emails into personalized sales pitches, and creating newsletters based on Slack activity. languages. Additional capabilities include built-in web research tools that gather and structure information for proposals or market exploration, with results delivered in editable designs. Brand Intelligence ensures designs start and remain on brand by automatically applying fonts, colors, and styles, and updating existing work with the latest brand parameters.

The platform supports HTML importing, allowing users to bring in interactive ideas and edit them visually. Sheets AI generates structured, designed spreadsheets populated with real data for budgets, timelines, and content calendars. Canva’s Frontier AI lab has developed proprietary models that are up to seven times faster and 30 times cheaper than comparable alternatives.

The company also announced a deepened collaboration with Anthropic, integrating Canva’s Design Engine and Visual Suite into Anthropic’s Claude platform. This partnership allows users to import AI-generated artifacts from Claude and ChatGPT directly into Canva for editing and publishing as websites.

According to research from venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz, Canva ranks as the third most-used AI platform globally and leads in customer spend growth on AI products among software companies.

Canva claims $4 billion in annual recurring revenue and has been profitable for eight consecutive years. The company serves more than a quarter of a billion users worldwide. Canva recently made its basic product free following its acquisition of the Ability suite of creative applications.
