Woman Accused of Stalking and Assaulting Lindsey Buckingham Arrested in Indiana

A 55-year-old woman wanted in California on charges of stalking and assaulting Lindsey Buckingham was arrested on Saturday in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The Los Angeles Times reported the arrest, which took place about 2,000 miles from the site of the alleged incident in Santa Monica. m.

Background of Harassment Buckingham, a former guitarist and vocalist for Fleetwood Mac and a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, was granted a restraining order against Dick in December 2024.

The order required Dick to stay at least 100 yards away from Buckingham, his wife, and his son, and prohibited her from harassing or contacting him in any way. This measure came after years of alleged harassment. In the petition for the restraining order, Buckingham stated that Dick had loitered around his home and those of his family members, made repeated calls, and left threatening voicemails.

He also reported that she taped a photo collage of herself and Buckingham to his mailbox. Additionally, Dick placed a false emergency call claiming she had heard gunshots inside Buckingham's home, leading police to arrive, handcuff him, and search the property.

Arrest and Next Steps Following her arrest, Dick was transported to the Allen County Jail in Fort Wayne.

She is awaiting extradition to California to face the charges. The Los Angeles Police Department has not released further details on the substance used in the alleged assault or the exact date of the Santa Monica incident beyond it occurring earlier this month.
