Celebrities Hold Three-Hour New York Concert Criticizing Trump Administration Policies

Fox NewsA three-hour concert titled 'Rise Up, Sing Out: A Concert for the First Amendment' took place in New York City. Jane Fonda and the Committee for the First Amendment hosted the event, which was streamed on multiple left-wing YouTube channels and aired on C-SPAN. Bette Midler performed a version of Woody Guthrie's 'All You Fascists Bound to Lose' at the concert.
The 80-year-old actress altered lyrics to include references to ICE enforcement, the Jeffrey Epstein files, and claims that Republicans are protecting pedophiles. Joy Reid addressed the audience and stated that Brendan Carr wrote the blueprint to dismantle the FCC and Project 2025 and is now running it.
She also said Don Lemon, Georgia Fort, Terry Moran, Scott Pelley, Jim Acosta, Karen Attiah, and herself were fired for standing up to the administration, adding that she was fired for speaking out against the genocide.
Robert De Niro told attendees he cannot love a country led by a racist, misogynist, xenophobic tyrant. He compared loving America under Trump to an abused spouse loving their abuser and led a 'Go f--k yourself' chant directed at President Trump. Ms.
