Celtic Manager Confirms Qarabag Forward Camilo Durán Nears First Summer Signing

Celtic manager Martin O'Neill confirmed that Colombian forward Camilo Durán is undergoing a medical ahead of becoming the club's first summer signing from Qarabag for an undisclosed fee. O'Neill told Celtic TV that the 24-year-old is completing the medical either on the day of the remarks or the following morning.
Durán scored five goals in 10 Champions League appearances for the Azerbaijan club last season.
The player made 48 appearances, including 33 starts, for Qarabag, recording 15 goals and 10 assists. He joined the club from Portuguese side Portimonense after beginning his career in lower Portuguese divisions. O'Neill said the club has offers in for additional players and expects to add several in the coming weeks.
Celtic's first public pre-season friendly is scheduled against Shelbourne in Dublin.
