skysports.comCeltic announced that Shaun Maloney, Mark Fotheringham and Stephen McManus will continue in their roles under manager Martin O'Neill next season, The Bbc reported. O'Neill's permanent appointment was confirmed on 11 June. The 75-year-old agreed a one-year contract that includes an option for a further year.
Maloney and McManus had stepped up from other club positions to assist O'Neill during two interim periods last season. Former Huddersfield Town manager Fotheringham joined the coaching group at that time. Coach Gavin Strachan left recently to take a post at West Bromwich Albion.
O'Neill had replaced Brendan Rodgers and then Wilfried Nancy in the role. O'Neill first managed Celtic from 2000 to 2005. He guided the team to a league and Scottish Cup double this season, securing a fifth successive Scottish Premiership title.
"Everybody at the club played their part in our achievements last season and we now look ahead as again we strive together to bring our supporters more success," O'Neill said in a statement.
