Channel 13 Poll: Opposition Bloc at 60 Seats, Coalition at 49, Arab Parties at 11
A Tuesday evening poll forecasts the Jewish opposition parties winning 60 seats in Israel's October 27 election, one fewer than the prior week. The coalition parties are projected at 49 seats while Arab parties rise to 11.

A Channel 13 poll published Tuesday evening, 14 weeks before Israel's October 27 election, shows the bloc of Jewish opposition parties forecast to win 60 seats. That total is one seat below the 61 projected in the previous week's survey. The coalition parties are forecast to win 49 seats, down from 50.
Arab parties are projected to take 11 seats, up from nine. Gadi Eisenkot's Yashar party holds steady at 21 seats. The Beyahad party led by Naftali Bennett is projected at 14 seats, one fewer than last week.
The Democrats remain at 11 seats. Yisrael Beiteinu holds at 10 seats. United Torah Judaism stays at eight seats. Shas rises to eight seats from seven. Otzma Yehudit remains at seven seats. Hadash-Ta'al is forecast at six seats, up one.
Ra'am reaches five seats, also up one. Religious Zionism falls to five seats from six. The Bayit Zioni party holds at four seats. Balad, Blue and White, and Makom LeKoolanu each fell below the electoral threshold with support of 1.9 percent, 1 percent, and 0.5 percent respectively.
The poll surveyed 988 respondents and carried a maximum sampling error of 3.5 percent. It was conducted by The Madad in cooperation with the Midgam Project, Askararia, and Statnet.
Eisenkot remains ahead of Benjamin Netanyahu as the preferred candidate for prime minister. Amid reports that Shas could be willing to sit with him in government, Eisenkot did not rule out that possibility.
