Charles Barkley Declined Invitation to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Wedding

Sports analyst Charles Barkley said he received an invitation to the July 3 wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce but declined it to play golf. Barkley made the comments during the July 7 episode of the radio program Unfiltered with Ricky Bo and Bill Colarulo. He stated he politely declined because he expected the event to be too large.

on the Invitation "I did get an invite, and I politely declined because I thought it was gonna be a crap show," Barkley told the hosts. He added that he does not attend weddings or funerals in general. "I love Travis and Jason — I've only met Taylor one time — but yeah, I did get an invite but I said 'hey, you know what, that's just too much,'" Barkley said.

Barkley said his preference is to spend time on the golf course rather than attend formal gatherings. "I just wanna hang out and play golf," he said. " He noted that he appreciated receiving the invitation despite not attending. "But I appreciate the invitation," Barkley said.

" The wedding took place at Madison Square Garden in New York with a large guest list of family and friends.
