China Adds 20 Japanese Firms to Export Control List

China's Commerce Ministry added 20 Japanese companies and organizations to its export control list on Monday. The list includes the National Institute for Defense Studies and multiple Mitsubishi-affiliated defense contractors. The designation bars Chinese exporters from supplying dual-use items to the listed entities.
