China Exported Record 1.07 Million Vehicles in June 2026

China exported 1.07 million vehicles in June 2026, a 73 percent increase from the same month in 2025 and the first time monthly shipments have exceeded one million units. The increase was driven by electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids that benefit from state subsidies and domestic battery supply chains.
Since 2023 Monthly exports stood at 390,000 units in March 2023.
Shipments have more than doubled in the three years since that reading. The June 2026 figure marks the continuation of that upward trend. The data were reported by @FirstSquawk.
