A state-run Chinese newspaper published an editorial on Thursday urging government agencies to strengthen protections for workers as artificial intelligence spreads through workplaces. The Workers' Daily, described as the official mouthpiece of China's umbrella trade union organization, called on regulators to improve labor standards and increase oversight of AI algorithms.
