Christina Applegate Addresses Health Reports After Hospitalization Claims
Actor Christina Applegate posted an update on her health following reports of a hospital stay. She stated she is getting stronger despite ongoing issues related to multiple sclerosis. The update came amid details about her condition and recent activities.
boredpanda.comShe stated that health issues are constant for her but emphasized her strength and improvement. “Thank you for the outpouring of love and well wishes. Health issues are a constant for me, but I am a strong chick and I’m getting stronger and better every day,” Applegate said in the post, which included a photo of her memoir, You With the Sad Eyes.
A representative for Applegate declined to comment on her medical status to Entertainment Weekly. The representative noted that Applegate has a long history of complicated medical conditions and has been open about them in her memoir and podcast.
2021, Applegate announced her diagnosis with multiple sclerosis, which led to a production halt on the Netflix series Dead to Me for over five months during treatment. She has discussed challenges from the condition, including severe depression due to debilitating pain.

Symptoms include extreme tiredness, vision problems, numbness, balance issues, muscle cramps, urination problems, memory issues, and sexual dysfunction.

She described this routine as her favorite activity and the only time they have together alone.
Applegate's memoir, released in March, covers her multiple sclerosis diagnosis and her abusive childhood. In an interview with People ahead of the publication, she said revisiting traumatic episodes was difficult but cathartic. “To be honest, it’s actually opened up so many wounds, and it’s okay because I’m a strong girl, I’m going to get through it,” Applegate said.
