Christopher Nolan's "The Odyssey" held its New York premiere on July 14 at AMC Lincoln Square Theater. The cast includes Matt Damon, Zendaya, Anne Hathaway, Tom Holland, Charlize Theron, Lupita Nyong'o, Robert Pattinson and others. The film is scheduled to open in theaters on July 17.

The movie adapts Homer's ancient Greek epic poem about Odysseus' journey home after the Trojan War. Universal Pictures describes it as a "mythic action epic" filmed entirely with IMAX cameras. Several theaters will offer 70mm screenings in addition to standard formats.
