Clemson received commitments from three four-star recruits on June 1. The additions came within a few hours and raised the program's 2027 class total to 19 players.

First commitment Four-star EDGE Desmond Malpress from Jacksonville, Florida, committed to Clemson. He selected the Tigers over South Carolina, Georgia Tech, Florida and Florida State after an official visit the previous weekend. "Clemson has felt like family even before my official visit," Malpress told Rivals.

"They brought me in with open arms.

The 6-foot-6, 260-pound prospect from Kindred, North Dakota, chose Clemson over Kansas State and Notre Dame. Starcevic has been recruited at multiple positions, including tight end, defensive end and offensive tackle.

Third commitment Four-star offensive tackle JJ Brown from the 2027 class also pledged to Clemson. The 6-foot-6, 310-pound lineman, ranked No. 32 at his position by the 247Sports Composite, selected the Tigers over Florida, Georgia, Florida State and Auburn.

Brown committed after the same official visit weekend. "I really didn't think that I was going to commit a couple days after. But I just believe it's the perfect place to be and the perfect time to do it now," he told Chad Simmons of Rivals.
