College World Series begins June 12 in Omaha with eight teams

The final stage of the 2026 NCAA Division I baseball championship takes place at the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska. Eight teams will play at Charles Schwab Field beginning Friday, June 12. Five of the eight teams come from one conference that has won the previous six national titles. The remaining three teams include one that reached the series for the first time.

Eastern pits No. 16 West Virginia against Troy on ESPN. Game 2 at 7 p.m. Eastern features No. 5 North Carolina against Ole Miss, also on ESPN. 7 Alabama facing Oklahoma. Game 4 at 8 p.m. Eastern matches No. 3 Georgia against No. 6 Texas.

The championship series begins Saturday, June 20, with Game 2 on Sunday, June 21 at 2:30 p.m. Eastern on ABC and a potential Game 3 on Monday, June 22. Several teams enter the series without a postseason loss. One team advanced after winning its regional and super regional rounds as a No. 3 seed.
