Speakers appeared on the main stage throughout the morning and afternoon, addressing topics ranging from artificial intelligence infrastructure to cryptocurrency regulation. A U.S. senator said the Clarity Act needs an ethics provision that would limit cryptocurrency involvement for senior government officials, including the president.
"There will be no one voting for this bill if we don't have an ethics provision," the senator stated at the event. Kevin O'Leary told the audience that the country with the strongest artificial intelligence capabilities will hold a significant advantage.
O'Leary said the United States needs to outbuild China on power and data centers to achieve that position. The founder of the x402 protocol said the agentic economy is estimated to reach between $3 trillion and $5 trillion by 2030. Separately, the CEO of Ripple stated the company is not considering artificial intelligence as a means to reduce staff.
The founder of Figure said tokenized real estate is overhyped. The comments came during panel discussions at the conference.
Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson delivered a keynote address at noon Eastern time. In the afternoon, the executive chairman of Strategy delivered a keynote that drew attention after the company disclosed the previous evening it would consider selling some bitcoin holdings to fund dividends on preferred stock.
