The Independent reported that Spencer, 38, denied touching the breasts of the second woman and rejected suggestions that he fist-pumped in celebration afterward.
CCTV footage shown in court captured Spencer raising his arm with a clenched fist after the second alleged incident.
Spencer said the gesture occurred when the woman pushed his arms away, leaving him embarrassed and surprised, and described it as potentially boorish or laddish rather than celebratory. Spencer conceded his behavior that night was wildly misjudged and inappropriate.
He described himself as overfriendly, overzealous, and overenthusiastic but insisted he had not tried to cop a feel or asked lurid questions about one woman's marriage.
The MP detailed his alcohol consumption that day, including red wine with his father at lunch, two beers at Twickenham, a glass of wine at dinner, and two rounds of negroni cocktails. He broke down in tears when his wife Anna testified, describing him as kind, gentle, and compassionate.
Spencer has pleaded not guilty to two counts of sexual assault and was suspended by the Conservative Party after being charged.
