Conservatives win Aberdeen South by-election with 49.5 percent of the vote

The Conservative Party won the Aberdeen South by-election with 49.5 percent of the vote and a majority of 6,050. The SNP received 26.8 percent, producing a 25-point swing to the Conservatives.
