Cornerback held without bail on armed robbery and kidnapping charges

Prosecutors said the cornerback turned himself in Wednesday and was booked at Orient Road Jail in Hillsborough County.

Tampa police investigators said they located the group chat in which the cornerback and co-defendant Boakai Hilton Jr. directed the others during the attack. The cornerback allegedly watched the assault unfold via a live stream set up by an associate.

The incident followed a February 1 burglary at an Airbnb in Largo, Florida, rented by the cornerback, in which approximately $100,000 in cash and an $80,000 necklace were taken.
