A new update for Crimson Desert introduces a Wyvern mount and revises several game systems. The patch follows the release of the game's second roadmap earlier this week.
ForbesCrimson Desert received a new patch that adds a Wyvern mount and revises combat and other systems. Pearl Abyss released the update days after publishing the game's second roadmap. The previous roadmap had been completed about two months ahead of schedule.
Players can now obtain a Wyvern mount by raising a Baby Wyvern until it reaches full size and registering it. A second mount option allows players to raise a Kuku Bird Chick into a usable mount. Fortress and stronghold blockades now include additional Battle and Reconstruct stages instead of automatic takeovers.
Players can spend contributions to request Protection for specific locations. Blockade battles now provide rewards such as contributions, provisions, trade goods, and other items. Two new minigames, Pinball at the Delesyian Institute and Orb Roll at the Great Gate of Urdavah, offer furniture, crafting recipes, artifact chests, and Abyss Artifacts.
A new Carpet decoration category is available from dye vendors and other sources. A Cat Tower decoration can be found at Furlington Farm in the Azerian Estate.

Damage values for Damiane in unarmed combat were adjusted. Normal arrows are now used when Replenishing Arrows are depleted. Mission Dispatch selection is now based on mission type rather than region. Photo mode received interface improvements. A new growth UI displays the growth level of pets and horses. The next patch is scheduled to extend this functionality to the Iron Eagle and Phoenix.
