Cubs Rally Past Giants 3-2 in 10 Innings on Busch Walk-Off After Crow-Armstrong's Two Homers

Crow-Armstrong tied the game at 1-1 with a solo home run in the bottom of the sixth inning off Giants starter Landen Roupp.
He added his 11th home run of the season in the bottom of the ninth, a two-out shot off Keaton Winn that tied the score at 2-2. The Giants had taken a 2-1 lead in the top of the ninth on a sacrifice fly by Matt Chapman that scored Jung Hoo Lee. Rafael Devers had given San Francisco its first lead with a solo home run off Cubs reliever Caleb Thielbar in the top of the ninth, his eighth of the season.
Ben Brown pitched 5 1/3 scoreless innings for the Cubs, allowing one hit and one walk while striking out five. Roupp allowed one run on three hits and three walks with five strikeouts before being removed three batters after Crow-Armstrong's first home run. Ryan Rolison (5-1) earned the win after striking out Bericoto and Devers and inducing a groundout from Luis Arraez in the top of the 10th.
Sam Hentges (1-1) took the loss after facing one batter. Crow-Armstrong finished 4-for-5 with two home runs and two singles. Busch recorded two hits, including the game-winning single. Jung Hoo Lee had two singles for the Giants.
The Cubs had lost four of their previous five games. The Giants had won the series opener 18-3 with 19 hits, scoring 16 more runs and recording 14 more hits than in the June 6 contest. The only scoring through the first eight innings came on solo home runs by Devers and Crow-Armstrong.
