Cullinan Therapeutics Presents Phase 1 Data on CLN-978 at EULAR 2026 Congress
Cullinan Therapeutics reported initial clinical results from two Phase 1 trials of CLN-978, a CD19xCD3 T cell engager, in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus and rheumatoid arthritis. The data were presented June 6 at the European Alliance of Associations for Rheumatology Congress.
The presentation covered results from 29 patients evaluated as of May 15, 2026, across multiple dose levels in the OUTRACE SLE and RA trials. Patients with refractory systemic lupus erythematosus and difficult-to-treat rheumatoid arthritis showed clinical benefit, including remissions, after a single target dose. Deep, dose-dependent B cell depletion was observed in peripheral blood and tissue.
A favorable safety profile was reported with single target doses up to 30 µg and with an initial multi-dose regimen. The subcutaneous route of administration was noted as supporting potential outpatient use.
Data from the first rheumatoid arthritis multi-dose regimen cohort and initial clinical data for velinotamig, a BCMAxCD3 T cell engager, will be shared at Cullinan’s Immunology Day on June 10, 2026.
