Customers Report Unauthorized Charges From Telehealth Service Selling Compounded GLP-1 Drugs
Multiple users of FitRx and Zealthy, Inc. say they were charged for medication shipments they did not request. The company previously paid a $5 million settlement with the U.S. government over similar complaints.
WiredCustomers of a telehealth service selling compounded GLP-1 weight-loss drugs have reported being charged for medication they did not order. The service operates under the names FitRx and Zealthy, Inc. Users described signing up for membership, providing payment details, and later discovering charges for multi-month supplies of tirzepatide or semaglutide that arrived without prior confirmation.
One customer signed up in March to check pricing advertised at $135 per month. Within hours, the customer was charged $866 and received a three-month supply of tirzepatide vials. The customer refused delivery and returned the package but was told refunds were not possible once shipping labels were printed.
Albert said he was initially charged a consistent monthly price for tirzepatide but later received a higher bill for an increased dose. He reported delays of several weeks in receiving shipments, which interrupted his dosing schedule and led to weight regain.
Albert said he was unable to remove his credit card from the site and had to request a new card from his bank. Nicole Butler said a three-month supply of Zepbound was left outside in summer heat in North Carolina, melting the cooling packs. She said monthly membership charges continued after she disputed the order.
Sarah Harris said she was charged more than $1,500 and received tracking numbers for shipments that never arrived. She said she had to order a new debit card to stop recurring charges.
A Zealthy customer service representative told the reporter to expect an email response that did not arrive. The company’s listed CEO did not respond to repeated requests for comment. The company’s office in Manhattan was visited in person, but no substantive discussion occurred.
