He attributed the changes to extensive radiation treatment for carcinoma in his throat in addition to treatment for the lymphoma. Coulier said the treatment has taken a significant physical toll. He has not been able to eat solid food for months and has lost 45 pounds.
The radiation has also affected his speech. Despite the difficulties, Coulier reported that recent scans and his overall prognosis are positive for both the throat carcinoma and the lymphoma. While recovering, Coulier said he has stayed busy by making artwork and doing creative writing.
