DC Studios and Warner Bros. Animation to Premiere Batman Knightfall at Annecy Festival
DC Studios CEO Peter Safran and Warner Bros. Animation President Sam Register will present the studios' upcoming slate at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival next month. The event includes the world premiere of Batman: Knightfall Part 1: Knightfall, a three-feature animated series based on the 1993-1994 comic arc, along with first looks at several DC Universe series.

The presentation will include the world premiere of Batman: Knightfall Part 1: Knightfall, a new DC Studios multi-part animated film event. , Creature Commandos and Batman: Caped Crusader. Batman: Knightfall is produced by WB Animation, DC Studios and Warner Home Entertainment.
The three-feature animated series is based on the iconic 1993–1994 Batman story arc focused on the villain Bane. That arc partly served as the inspiration for the 2012 film The Dark Knight Rises.
Peter Safran, co-chairman and co-CEO at DC Studios, and Sam Register, president at Warner Bros. Animation, Cartoon Network Studios and Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe, will host the studio’s Annecy panel. They will appear together with executive producers Tom King for Mister Miracle, Rick Morales for Creature Commandos, Jake Wyatt for My Adventures with Green Lantern, Josie Campbell for Starfire!
and Matt Beans for DC Super Powers. Beyond the DC projects, Cartoon Network will give a deep dive into its new Adult Swim series SuperMutant Magic Academy. Warner Bros. Animation and Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe will preview two original half-hour comedies, Living the Dream and Keeping Up With The Joneses.
Living the Dream is produced by Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe for Netflix. The eight-part workplace sitcom follows two best friends navigating dead-end social media jobs at an eco-startup called “Ecofood” in London. Keeping Up With The Joneses is made for Adult Swim.
The series follows the Newberry family as they try to keep up with their wealthy Dallas neighbors, including the one next door, Jerry Jones, owner of the Dallas Cowboys. The 2026 Annecy International Animation Film Festival runs from June 21 to June 27.
