DeChambeau struck the shot with a new prototype TaylorMade Qi4D Proto 200+ driver. It was his first competitive round with the club, which only recently became conforming under tour rules. U.S. Open. It set up a birdie opportunity and moved DeChambeau to 1-under for the round at that point.
