Docuseries Examines Man Found With Amnesia Behind Georgia Burger King in 2004

A four-part docuseries titled “The Many Lives of Benjaman Kyle” is scheduled to premiere on Investigation Discovery on May 25. The series follows filmmakers Eric and Shannon Evangelista as they examine the case of a man discovered unconscious behind a Burger King in Georgia in August 2004. K.

The report states Powell left Lafayette, Indiana, in March of that year and abandoned his vehicle north of the city after removing the license plates. Retired FBI agent Ken Maxwell reviewed Powell’s 2004 medical records and noted the absence of abrasions or other signs of assault.

Maxwell also stated that people familiar with Powell in the 1970s had criminal records. Powell last appeared in public records in Lafayette, Indiana, where he worked at a convenience store. Shannon Evangelista said the last confirmed contact occurred in December 2016 and that his current address is unknown.

“We’ve never stopped, and we’re still investigating,” Shannon told Fox News Digital. “I think the big question that’s still looming... ” The filmmakers have asked anyone with information to contact their production company, Hot Snakes Media. Powell has not been charged with any crime, and no public evidence has linked him to criminal activity.
