Donovan McNabb Jr., a 5-foot-11 wide receiver from Brophy College Prep in Phoenix, announced his commitment to UNLV on Friday night. The 2027 three-star prospect chose the Rebels over offers from Arizona, Iowa, Kansas, Kansas State, Maryland, Minnesota, Syracuse and Washington. 247Sports ranks him the No. 107 wide receiver nationally and the No. 18 prospect in Arizona.
Recruiting context UNLV holds the Mountain West's top-ranked 2027 recruiting class and the third-best class among non-Power Four programs, according to 247Sports. The program has improved its recruiting under head coach Dan Mullen. McNabb recorded 23 receptions for 280 yards and five touchdowns last season at Brophy College Prep.
His high school teammates included fellow second-generation players Devin Fitzgerald and Daylen Sharper.
served as a graduate assistant at Syracuse in 1998 during the final season of Donovan McNabb Sr.'s college career. McNabb Sr. was selected second overall in the 1999 NFL Draft.
