Spoke with Fox News chief congressional correspondent Chad Pergram on Capitol Hill about the primary results. Pergram asked whether the wins would create hassles for Jeffries. Larson replied that New York voters decide their own nominees.
"The voters of New York make up their own mind. We don't control voters of New York," Larson said. He added that Jeffries has managed 11 separate caucuses within the Democratic group and would continue to bring members together.
Larson stated that Jeffries would be an outstanding Speaker due to his ability to unite people. When asked about a DSA statement calling for elimination of the Senate and House selection of the president and Supreme Court, Larson confirmed the position and said he did not think it was very American.
Larson also said he is against antisemitism when pressed on whether Democrats would distance themselves from candidates accused of holding such views.
He maintained that voters in each state choose their representatives.
