Duchy of Cornwall to Sell 20% of Land Holdings and Spend £500m on Communities Over Next Decade

The Duchy of Cornwall will sell 20 percent of its property holdings and invest 500 million pounds in local communities over the next decade, Cbc reported. The estate holds more than 52,000 hectares of land and employs 200 staff, according to its 2025 report. 5 million Canadian dollars.

Prince William, 43, said the changes reflect a shift away from traditional landownership. "We're not the traditional landowner ... we want to be more than that. There is so much good we can do. I'm trying to make sure I'm prioritizing stuff that's going to make people's lives, living in those areas, better," he said.
