Dylan Sprouse and Barbara Palvin announced on May 14, 2026 that they are expecting a child. The couple shared the news through a joint post on their Instagram accounts while attending the 79th annual Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France. In the images the pair pose for the camera dressed in formal attire with their hands resting on Palvin's belly.
Palvin wore a light blue gown and Sprouse wore a tuxedo. The carousel of images also includes a sonogram showing a tiny hand making a rock 'n' roll hand gesture with both Palvin and Sprouse replicating the gesture in a separate photo. A representative for Palvin confirmed to ABC News that the model and actor from "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody" are expecting.
The couple married on July 15, 2023 in Palvin's home country of Hungary.
2025 Palvin shared in an Instagram post that she had undergone surgery for endometriosis. She described dealing with fatigue, severe pain, heavy and irregular flow and sleepless nights for years before the procedure. "For some years now I've been dealing with the difficulties that can come with my periods.
Fatigue, severe pain, heavy and irregular flow, sleepless nights on the bathroom floor. I thought this was just how it works for me," she wrote at the time. She added that the surgery helped significantly and stressed the importance of early diagnosis and treatment.
Palvin said she was excited about a new chapter and ready to return to work following her recovery. She returned to the Victoria’s Secret runway after the health battle. The couple is currently in Cannes for the film festival where the pregnancy announcement was made public.
