EA UFC 6 entered early access for Ultimate Edition owners on June 12, 2026, with the full release set for June 19 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Alex Pereira appears on the cover of the standard edition, while Max Holloway is featured on the Ultimate Edition cover. The game introduces a Career Mode overhaul along with three new modes: The Legacy, Hall of Legends, and The Gym.

Mazique stated that from a pure stand-up fighting standpoint, the game offers the premier combat sports experience and that fighters feel unique in movement, striking, and measurements. He described the arenas and animations as stunning and noted that the fighters look more like themselves from a disposition standpoint.

He said The Gym progression system feels alive in a way that is more compelling than the previous system, while The Legacy mode presents a gritty and expansive story centered on Chris Carter’s journey.

Mazique called Flow State a strong mechanic that connects boosts to real fighter strengths, though he noted he does not love its cinematic visuals. He said grappling remains largely unchanged and that winning on the ground depends on mastering transitions, managing stamina, and fighter ground prowess. He reported some wonky animations and glitches but expressed confidence they will be addressed.

He also noted limited real-world connectivity, stating that while Fight Week predictions and challenges remain, there is no system to reflect standout real-life performances in the game. Mazique said he is excited about upcoming expansions and hopes for an all-boxing mode and a Fight Night Champion expansion.
