A senior advisor to the Eagles general manager stated that an unverified rumor about wide receiver A.J. Brown and quarterback Jalen Hurts is not true. NFL Network insider Mike Garafolo said on Tuesday’s segment of “Good Morning Football” that Dom DiSandro knows what goes on within the Eagles building.

” The rumor claimed that Brown and former player Haason Reddick were involved with the same massage therapist in 2023 and that Hurts knew about the situation but did not tell Brown. The rumor originated on social media and had not been confirmed by any reputable source.

Hurts had been close since college.

Brown said last Thursday on the “7 PM in Brooklyn” podcast that their friendship is no longer as close as it once was. Brown added that there is “actually still a lot of love” and that the two “still competed, we still pushed each other, we still led the team.”

current team status On June 1, the Eagles traded Brown to another team for a 2028 first-round pick and a 2027 fifth-round pick. Brown visited the Eagles facility last week to pick up items and leave a parting message. The Eagles finished the 2025 season with an 11-6 record and lost in the wild-card round. Their next season begins on Sept. 13.
