usmagazine.comEarl Spencer posted images and video from his honeymoon in Arizona after marrying Cat Jarman in a private ceremony on May 15. The 61-year-old Earl and the 44-year-old Norwegian archaeologist exchanged vows near Cathedral Rock in Sedona. He described the day as the "happiest day ever" in a social media announcement.
The bride wore a blue Grecian-style gown with a plunging neckline and flowing skirt. Photographs of the event were taken by Caitlyn Jennings. This marks the fourth marriage for the Earl, who was previously married to Countess Karen Spencer for 13 years.
The couple remained in Arizona for their honeymoon and posted footage of themselves riding horses through canyon landscapes. Earl Spencer captioned an Instagram Stories video "Honeymooning" with the track "Desert Roads" by MrQBan. Mrs Jarman shared her own images from the horseback ride and a photograph of the night sky above the canyon.
They later collaborated on archaeological work and launched the podcast The Rabbit Hole Detectives with Rev. Richard Coles. After about two years together, the couple did not publicly announce an engagement before the surprise wedding in the United States.
"We both feel so incredibly lucky to have progressed from being colleagues, to friendship, to deep love and connection," the couple said in a joint statement. " Earl Spencer recalled a friend's comment that Mrs Jarman would be content living in a hut and noted that she proved equally happy marrying him in the desert.
Mrs Jarman was previously married to Tom Jarman and has two sons.
