Ella Langley Wins Four Awards at 2026 Academy of Country Music Awards
Ella Langley received four awards at the 61st Academy of Country Music Awards held Sunday in Las Vegas. Cody Johnson won entertainer of the year.
Nbc NewsElla Langley received four awards at the 61st Academy of Country Music Awards held Sunday at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The first award of the night went to Langley for song of the year for her crossover hit “Choosin’ Texas.” She later won single of the year for the same song, music event of the year for her duet “Don’t Mind if I Do” with Riley Green, and female artist of the year.
Langley said she was not often at a loss for words and thanked fans for supporting the song. In her female artist of the year acceptance speech, she said she would not be standing on stage without the encouragement of many women. Cody Johnson won entertainer of the year after also receiving male artist of the year.
He dedicated his entertainer of the year award to Luke Combs and said music is the sound of emotion.
The ceremony opened with a performance by Lainey Wilson, who had won entertainer of the year the previous two years. Other performers included Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett, Jordan Davis, Avery Anna, Zach Top, Little Big Town, and Kane Brown. The Red Clay Strays won group of the year and Brooks & Dunn won duo of the year.
Album of the year went to Parker McCollum for his self-titled release. Pre-show awards included artist-songwriter of the year for Langley, songwriter of the year for Jessie Jo Dillon, and new female and new male artist of the year for Anna and Tucker Wetmore.
