The England and Wales Cricket Board has released Hampshire's Liam Dawson and Somerset's Tom Banton from England's one-day international squad to play in Saturday's T20 Blast Finals Day, The Bbc reported. The pair had been part of Brendon McCullum's squad facing India, with the third and final ODI scheduled for Sunday at Lord's.
Dawson played in England's first ODI loss to India and scored 68 runs, his highest total for the national side in any format, before bowling two overs.
He missed Thursday's four-wicket win in Cardiff. Banton has yet to start in the series. Hampshire defeated Essex by 75 runs in their T20 Blast quarter-final at Utilita Bowl. Somerset, the defending champions, beat Yorkshire in their quarter-final.
Banton was released for that match and scored one run off five balls. Finals Day begins at Edgbaston at 11:00 BST with the semi-final between Northamptonshire Steelbacks and Somerset.
Hampshire Hawks face Notts Outlaws at 14:30 BST, and the final is set for 18:45 BST.
