A heat warning is also in effect for the same regions.
Daytime highs of 30 to 32 C are expected, with humidex values reaching 36 to 38. The warning will continue through Tuesday and end overnight. Officials urged residents to check on vulnerable people, stay hydrated and limit time outdoors during peak heat.
