The EU is finalizing plans to allow Ukraine to use part of its €60 billion defense loan to purchase arms from UK companies. Under the plan, the UK would not pay any upfront access fee. London would contribute based on the actual value of contracts won by British defense firms.
An official announcement on the plan could occur as soon as Monday during the UK-France-led “Coalition of the Willing” summit in Paris, @MarioNawfal reported.
