EU Parliament to Vote on Removing Mandatory GMO Labeling for Certain NGT Gene-Edited Products

The EU Parliament is scheduled to vote on new legislation introducing a 2 category system for GMO products under NGTs (New Genomic Techniques). The proposed legislation creates an NGT-1 category for final products. NGT-1 final products will no longer require mandatory GM labeling under the proposed legislation.
