Eurovision Song Contest director Martin Green stated in an interview with Variety that member countries will not hold further votes on whether to exclude Israel from the competition. Green said organizers found no evidence of rules violations during the voting process.
Some participating countries had called for an investigation into possible rules violations following the result. The contest's 70th edition took place on May 17, 2026, at Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna, Austria. Israel's representative Noam Bettan and accompanying guests were present during the grand final.
