Explosions were reported on Qeshm Island, in the port city of Bandar Abbas, and near Sirik in southern Iran. Residents on Qeshm Island said enemy fighter jets fired the projectiles that caused the blasts. Similar sounds were heard in Bandar Abbas. Attacks were also reported again near Sirik.
The incidents took place at three separate sites along Iran's southern coast. No official statements on casualties or damage have been issued. Local accounts attributed the Qeshm Island strikes to fighter-jet projectiles.
