FC Barcelona reached a total agreement to sign 18-year-old Jesse Bisiwu from Club Brugge, Forbes reported. The transfer fee stands at $11.4 million plus a 30 percent sell-on clause for the Belgian club. Negotiations between the two sides lasted six months.
Bisiwu's contract with Club Brugge expires on June 30, 2027, which prompted the sale to avoid losing him without compensation. Bisiwu is scheduled to travel to Barcelona next week for medical checks. He is expected to join Barca Atletic under Juliano Belletti while also participating in Hansi Flick’s first-team preseason camp.
The club is pursuing another winger, Karim Adeyemi from Borussia Dortmund, in a deal valued at $25 million plus $8 million in variables. Adeyemi’s contract also expires on June 30, 2027. FC Barcelona already signed Anthony Gordon from Newcastle United for $80 million.
