FC Barcelona offered €10 million for Club Brugge's 18-year-old winger Jesse Bisiwu, according to reports from Nieuwsblad and SPORT. The initial bid was rejected. Contact between the clubs continues. Club Brugge is expected to accept a slightly higher offer that includes a percentage of any future sale of the player.
Bisiwu would sign a four-year contract if the deal is completed.
The player would initially join Barcelona's reserve team, Barça Atletic, with the possibility of moving to the senior squad. The pursuit of Bisiwu comes as Barcelona has already signed Anthony Gordon from Newcastle United for €70 million and continues talks with Borussia Dortmund over Karim Adeyemi.
