Phil Parkinson serves as manager. Manchester United secured a place in the Premier League's top five. The team defeated Liverpool on Sunday. Ruben Amorim was Manchester United manager at the start of 2026 and left the position.
Michael Carrick now serves as the club's interim manager. Manchester United have won five more points than any other Premier League side since Carrick's arrival. The club will play in the Champions League next season.
United will have played only 40 matches in all competitions once this season ends. Bayern Munich hired Vincent Kompany as manager from Burnley. Mikel Arteta had no senior management experience before taking over at Arsenal.
