The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced a recall of multiple drink and dessert mixes distributed by SKS Copack after the products were found to contain a dry milk powder recalled for possible salmonella contamination.
The IndependentU.S. Food and Drug Administration issued a recall notice on Saturday for several coffee, tea and boba drink mixes sold in 25 states. The products were made by SKS Copack and contained a dry milk powder that California Dairies, Inc. had recalled in April after routine testing detected salmonella.
SKS Copack said the recall began after it received notice from its supplier about the California Dairies action. The affected items include matcha green tea, taro, caramel latte, horchata, milk tea and Dutch mocha cappuccino powders sold under the Angel Specialty Products, Royal Gold, Boba Time, Fanale and Denda brands.
Yogurt powders, ice cream mixes and smoothie bases from the same brands were also included.
The recalled powders were shipped to cafes, restaurants and direct customers through Angel Specialty’s website. Distribution covered Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin.
Consumers can identify the products by item number, lot code and Best By Date listed on the FDA notice. SKS Copack has stopped further distribution of the items.
Last week Sugar Foods LLC recalled Kroger Homestyle Cheese Garlic Croutons made with the same dry milk powder. The croutons were packaged in five-ounce pouches and sold at Kroger stores in 17 states between March 7, 2026, and April 7, 2026. Earlier this month, several frozen pizzas sold at Aldi and Walmart stores nationwide were also recalled because they contained the recalled ingredient.
No illnesses linked to any of the products have been reported.
