The same compound appeared in the Pink Pussycat Liquid Shot. Tadalafil was identified in Rhino Choco VIP Chocolate for Men and ilum Male Sexual Enhancement Chocolate. Both sildenafil and tadalafil were present in LOVION Chocolate with Ginseng for Men, DTF Sexual Chocolate, and the Pink Pussycat Honey product.
Sildenafil is the active ingredient in Viagra. Tadalafil is the active ingredient in Cialis. Neither compound has been approved for female sexual enhancement. The FDA stated that consuming undisclosed sildenafil or tadalafil alongside nitrate medications such as nitroglycerin can cause dangerous drops in blood pressure.
The agency also warned that the drugs may pose risks for individuals with recent cardiovascular events, eye problems, or known allergies to ED medications. The list of seven brands may not be exhaustive, Forbes reported. The FDA has previously identified undisclosed ED medications in honey packets in 2024, other honey-based products in 2022, and various dietary supplements in 2018.
The agency advised anyone who purchased the listed products to discard them or return them for a refund. Forbes noted that consumers should remain skeptical of sexual-enhancement claims on packaging that are not supported by FDA-approved labeling or independent scientific evidence.
