The statement was prompted by heavy rain and possible thunderstorms. Rain is expected to begin late Monday in these areas. Up to 20 mm of rain is possible Monday night into Tuesday morning in Waterloo region, Guelph, and Wellington County.
There is a possibility of thunderstorms in these locations. Showers are expected to end Tuesday morning. The temperature is expected to reach 21 C in Waterloo region, Guelph, and Wellington County. There is a humidex of 27 C in these areas.
Rain is possible for the entire week in Waterloo region, Guelph, and Wellington County.
Rainfall Warning for Northern Areas Areas just north of Waterloo region, including Grey and Bruce counties, Collingwood up to Parry Sound and Huntsville, are under a rainfall warning.
