Fellow Traveller Ends Story-Rich Showcase With New Release Dates, DLC, Scope Cuts and Price Increase

Fellow Traveller concluded its Story-Rich Showcase on June 6, 2026, after presenting more than 20 narrative-driven indie games. The full event is available on the publisher’s YouTube channel. Ambrosia Sky, a sci-fi game about death in which players clean up alien fungi, will receive its second and final episode as a free update on August 6.

Developer Soft Rains announced in March that the title, originally planned for three acts, would be reduced to two. 99. Citizen Sleeper and Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector, two sci-fi RPGs, will launch on Nintendo Switch 2 on June 25.

Owners of the games on the original Switch can access the Switch 2 versions at no extra charge. Developer Gareth Damian Martin said the studio will reveal its next game during Sunday’s PC Gaming Show. Desktop Explorer, a horror puzzle game in which players click through a creepy old Windows-like operating system, is scheduled to launch on July 17.

Demonschool, a tactical RPG from Necrosoft that channels Buffy and Persona, will receive paid DLC focused on “puzzle battles” where players clear out enemies using certain characters in one turn. Both the DLC and a Switch 2 version that adds mouse support and an improved frame rate are set to launch sometime this year.

Powerhoof, the studio behind the 2025 game The Drifter, is developing The Telwynium, a fantasy adventure epic.

Io. SFB Games, the studio that made Tangle Tower and Crow Country, will release The Mermaid Mask on July 16. The locked-door mystery is fully voice-acted and features hand-drawn animations.
