FIFA Announces 16 Stadiums for 2026 World Cup Across U.S., Canada, Mexico

The 2026 FIFA World Cup will take place from June 11 to July 19 in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The tournament will feature 48 teams and conclude with the final at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

venues Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium, capacity 75,000, will host eight matches including a semifinal. The venue opened in 2017 and also serves as home to the Atlanta Falcons. Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, capacity 65,000, will host seven matches.

Built in 2002, it is home to the New England Patriots and underwent renovations ahead of the tournament. AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, capacity 94,000, will host nine matches including a semifinal. Opened in 2009, it is the largest venue on the schedule and home to the Dallas Cowboys.

NRG Stadium in Houston, capacity 72,000, will host seven matches. Built in 2002, it is the first NFL facility with a retractable roof and home to the Houston Texans. GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, capacity 73,000, will host six matches including a semifinal.

Opened in 1972, it is home to the Kansas City Chiefs. SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, capacity 70,000, will host eight matches including a quarterfinal. Opened in 2020, it is the newest venue among the 16.
